  • Barrel Fest, a livestream created by Bristol producer Addison Groove, is back this month for a second edition. Starting on Wednesday and running until December 29th, the event features a packed line-up of worldwide bass acts. They include Juke Bounce Werk, Sinistarr, The Operatives, Tim Reaper, DJ Die, Fracture, Nikki Nair, The Librarian and many more. Sets will be streamed from Addison Groove's Twitch channel. The first Barrel Fest in October ran for 24 hours and was voted Best Virtual Festival in DJ Mag's Best of British Awards. Addison Groove has held livestreams on Twitch all year out of a space that he calls the Barrel Room—a reference to the mezcal brand that he runs alongside fellow Bristolian Pinch. (They store mezcal in whisky barrels, Addison Groove said in an interview with Ilian Tape earlier this year.) Visit Addison Groove's Instagram for details on set times.
