  • Yu Su has released "Xiu," the first single of her debut album, Yellow River Blue. The forthcoming full-length will be the first release on her new imprint, bié Records. Yu Su's 2019 tour of mainland China took her across the continent, from the western shore of the Yellow Sea Coast to Xining, the largest urban hub on the Tibetan Plateau. In China, the Kaifeng-born, Vancouver-based artist encountered a thriving leftfield electronic scene and was inspired to participate and contribute. "Xiu," the first single off Yellow River Blue, reflects opposing notions like chaos and zen. (The digital version comes with the 宫廷 version of the single, featuring Xiamen-based artist Knopha.) It's out today with the full album due on January 20th. Music From Memory will handle the vinyl edition. Check out a video clip for Yu Su's "Xiu."
