Ecuadorian artist Nicola Cruz has put together an Essential Mix and released a new EP on Highlife.
This past weekend, Crux helmed the long-running BBC Radio 1 series, with a two-hour session featuring tracks from producers like Two Shell, Nikki Nair, Walton and rRoxymore. You can listen to the mix via the BBC website here.
In that mix, Cruz also played one of the tracks from his newest record, Arpejos da Floresta, released via Huntleys + Palmers sub-label Highlife. The five-track EP is reportedly inspired by walks around nature and visiting isolated, "almost untouched spots of gorgeous nature."
