PLZ Make It Ruins is partnering with Arts Council England to release a charity compilation of locked grooves.
The 40-track album features locked grooves of no more than "1.8 seconds or one bar of music" each, produced at 133.33 BPM. Across two sides of vinyl, the compilation features loops from the likes of Arca, Four Tet, Eris Drew, SHYGIRL, Kelsey Lu, 100 gecs and label boss Vegyn.
Proceeds from the release will be divided between the ACLU and Liberty UK. The album will land alongside new merchandise designed by Isha Dipika and the Travis Brothers, who also created the LP's cover art. Both the record and merch will be available on the PLZ website on Friday, December 4th, 2020.
PLZ Make It Ruins is a London-based label run by Vegyn. This year the imprint has seen releases from OTTO, Buddy Ross and Vegyn himself.
