Mahogani Music will put out the self-titled debut album from GFI/UFM, Celebrity Barbecue Sauce.
It's the debut release from the project, made up of a couple of Detroit dance music mainstays—GFI and UFM—AKA Underground Resistance operative Gerald Mitchell and Billy Love, the Detroit-based vocalist who was part of Mike Banks' Members Of The House group and has worked with the likes of Theo Parrish, Amp Fiddler and Seth Troxler over the years.
Moodymann's label describes the project a combination of soul, fusion and funk with electronic music. It'll be out on digital and double 12-inch vinyl later this month.
