- 3 Days Man!, a repackaging of some of the funk band's early work, is out now.
The next Efficient Space reissue comes from '90s Sydney group Bellydance.
The nine-piece funk band released the 3 Days Man! EP in 1991 on local label Boomshanka Music with cover art by iconic Antipodean artist and Mental As Anything cofounder Reg Mombassa. The reissued edition, which is out now on vinyl and digital, features three versions of the title cut, including an original extended mix by Sydney dance royalty Peewee Ferris and John Ferris.
Efficient Space head Michael Kucyk, AKA Noise In My Head, explains that Sydney selector Ben Fester tipped him off to the single, with the pair working on the reissue project—which Kucyk calls "Oz streetsoul by way of The Orb"—to completion.
