Muallem, the creative mind behind Munich club BLITZ, is starting a record label called Childhood, with DJ Deep contributing the first release.
"Since my club is closed for the foreseeable future, I at least had the time to focus on things I didn't have time for in the past decade, as I spend most of my time in clubland," Muallem told Resident Advisor. "I didn't do any sports although I should have, however I went back into the studio and also finally launched my own label."
The result is a three-track 12-inch from DJ Deep called Vaincre. "When I opened BLITZ, he [DJ Deep] became part of the closer family and started to play regularly," Muallem explains. "Over time we exchanged ideas and thoughts about music and life in general and when I told him that I'm planning to start a label, he instantly sent me Vaincre."
The EP is out September 28th on vinyl and digital formats. The second release on Childhood will come from Don Williams.
