Heathered Pearls will release his third album, Cast, on Ghostly International November 13th.
For the 14-track record, a mix of ambient and rhythmic tracks with an emphasis on texture, Jakub Alexander dove into a novel collaborative process. "I hit a wall listening to these tracks when they were instrumental," says the Polish-born, New York City-based artist, who started working on the full-length while working in Berlin.
He decided to recruit friends for a series of "anti-performances," gathering off-the-cuff spoken word spots from the likes of Terrence Dixon, Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker), fellow Ghostly artist Shigeto and more. (Check the full list of contribuutors in the tracklist below.)
