All money will go towards Lebanon's Haven For Artists organization.
Beirut venue and crew The Ballroom Blitz are expanding their monthly Radio Alhara show into a 30-hour fundraiser for artists in Lebanon.
30 Hours For Beirut begins Friday, August 28th at 9 AM Beirut time and runs until 2 PM on Saturday. All money raised via the stream's donation link will go towards Haven For Artists, an activist nonprofit organization in Lebanon that has recently refocused its aim to help local people who've lost their homes or jobs, single mothers, migrant workers and others most affected by the port explosion.
The lineup includes a number of Middle Eastern artists (many of them from Lebanon) as well as bigger international names like Kode9, Scratcha DVA, Onra, Ikonika, TSVI, Wallwork and more. Check out the full lineup below.
Tune in here and donate directly to the fundraiser via GoFundMe.
The Ballroom Blitz is a venue located close to the site of the explosion at Beirut's port on August 4th.
