  • The first weekend in December is shaping up to be a huge one across London. Another party that has caught our eye is taking place at Hidden, formerly known as Studio 33. Yes!, run by Tekelec Records will offer a combination of tough and funky electronic sounds today with a mixture of local DJs. Room One will run in theme with the Tekelec sound showcasing the sounds of John Askew alongside Tekelec’s new collective ‘Electrilogy’ (AKA Ali Wilson, Lee Osborne and Matt Smallwood). Joining them will be the energetic Ian Betts, 2PhunkedUP and the triple header of Matt Kaycee Vs Dave Irvine Vs Ben Gold (Radio 1 Tour & Perfected). The terrace will offer something for fans of electro and breaks with former Big Brother winner Kate Lawler taking to the decks. Hopefully watching her mix will be a tad more exciting than watching the TV program that helped her become a house hold name in the UK. Joining her will be Rebekah, Nottingham’s deck wizard Max Cooper Vs Radio 1 favourite Raw Headroom, Tom Real (Riot!/ Functional Records) electro dude Jonty Skrufff ande Lee Lincoln, Si Barber and Tony P. Tekelec Records is the brand new label from pioneering DJ/ Producer Ali Wilson that has already been making noise across club land with early support from Carl Cox, Anne Savage and John Askew.
