- Santa is bringing Derrick Carter to Melbourne as a present for Chicago house fans.
Chicago house fans will be well looked after by Santa this year as Derrick Carter (USA) jets into Melbourne to play at Deconstrukt on Boxing Day, Monday 26 December at Seven Nightclub.
Derrick Carter has forged himself a career not only as the worlds’ foremost house deejay and ambassador, but also as innovative super producer and kingpin A&R man for some of house music’s biggest and brightest labels. There's more to Derrick's than the business side of things though, with his larger than life personality and affable character endearing people to him and inviting them onto the dance floor to dance up a storm. Derrick is considered the grandmaster of boompty Chicago house and his visit will thrill many over the Christmas Holidays.
