  • Yellow Swans are uploading their discography to Bandcamp. The West Coast improvisational noise duo of Pete Swanson and Gabriel Saloman broke up in 2008, and since then many of their recordings have become in-demand and hard to find. Starting this week they're uploading their archives to Bandcamp, which will continue over the next few months. The first batch includes the group's final record—Going Places and its bonus disc, Being There—which were originally released back in 2010, plus what Yellow Swans consider their first studio album, 2004's Bring The Neon War Home. The duo also uploaded the first two tape reissues of rare material: the 2003 CD-R Detestifi Yellow Swans and 2006's live album Live During War Crimes Vol. 2. Future uploads will include more Yellow Swans reissues as well as material by other artists on the duo's Collective Jyrk label. Listen to "Opt Out" from Going Places, and check out the whole Bandcamp page here.
