  • Local Action is releasing E.M.M.A.'s second album. Coming seven years after her debut full-length, Indigo Dream is out on July 29th via Local Action. The album comprises nine tracks, some of which date back to 2015. Ten percent of the label's profits will go toward the South London-based youth charity BIGKID Foundation. "Dreams help us understand our personal truths and reveal our real worries and wants, but they also flip reality on its head," E.M.M.A. explains. "I wanted to explore many intertwined streams of unconsciousness, which swirl in and out across the album's 'tracks.' It is a form of escape but also non-fiction." Over the years, London-based composer E.M.M.A has become revered for her soundtracking work, having collaborated with Gucci, and scored short films That Girl, Peugeot and Liberty. Since 2016, she's also been at the helm of Producergirls, the UK's first free-of-cost production workshop for women. Listen to "Into Indigo."
