  • Primavera Sound is the latest festival to postpone its 2020 edition in light of the global coronavirus pandemic. Following the Spanish government's restrictions on large-scale events throughout the summer, Primavera has confirmed it is not holding a festival this year. The 2020 festival was set to be Primavera's 20th anniversary. Instead, the next edition will take place June 2nd through 6th, 2021. In a statement posted to social media, Primavera said all tickets purchased for 2020 would be valid in 2021. Refunds will also be available to ticket-buyers. Sónar, another key Barcelona festival, postponed its main edition until 2021 last week. Keep up to date with the latest electronic music news regarding the coronavirus on RA.
