  • Jamie Jones is releasing a short film about his formative years in East London. East End Rave Roots sees the Welsh artist revisiting some of the venues and record shops that shaped his career, including Phonica, T Bar and fabric. The film is dedicated to Jones's late friend, and former T Bar booker, Derren Smart. "The two words that would sum up the period for me were creative and loose," Jones says. "We partied hard, but we also made a lot of music, searched for a lot of records, played really long sets and barely slept." Running for 13 minutes, East End Rave Roots is out in full tomorrow.
