The duo also hinted at new live recordings during their ongoing Mixlr live stream.
Autechre have two new albums ready to go.
The UK duo revealed the news in the chat of their Mixlr live stream, which has been going on-and-off for the last few days. (They've played everything from hip-hop to jazz to metal.)
They also said that they have more live recordings on the way, that their new live show is "99 percent" finished and that they recorded 750 hours of jamming last year, according to a screenshot shared by Richard Devine.
Autechre's last album was the eight-hour NTS Sessions 1-4 in 2018, though they've since shared a trove of live recordings as well as a mix of old material from 1989 through 1993.
