  • Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space Records will release the debut solo EP from Pierre Rousseau. Out March 27th, the six-track Musique Sans Paroles aims to "retain the elegance of minimalism, with the ambition of maximalism," Rousseau says. The opening and title track, "Musique Sans Paroles," includes vocals from Mana Haraguchi and uses field recordings taken in Paris and Tokyo. Closer "Pastorale" is an ambient track that features improvised drone by Kazuyuki Matsumura. The label says there are two more Rousseau EPs to come on Beats In Space. Pierre Rousseau is one half of the French pop house duo and Beats In Space affiliate Paradis. They released their last album, Recto Verso, in 2016. Watch the music video for "Paris," directed by Joseph Bird.
