- Music For Dance & Theatre - Volume One is out this month and includes music from Ivory Playground and Gerard Stokkink.
Music From Memory will launch a new series of EPs, Music For Dance & Theatre.
MFM—known for its tasteful reissues of rare music—says the new series will focus on music initially made for dance or performance. "Created as a dialogue with the avant-garde and highly experimental work in dance, theatre and art evolving at the time," the label says, "the music was in turn at times greatly innovative."
The first volume includes '80s productions from Gerard Stokkink, Ivory Playground, Atlantis Transit Project and Ramuntcho Matta.
