  • Jamie xx will headline No Coal Zone, a Sydney concert raising funds for climate action initiatives, on March 14th. The event will take over the Hordern Pavilion with DJ sets also coming from The Avalanches, Midnight Juggernauts, Ptwiggs and the Heaps Gay crew. Proceeds will being split between ClientEarth, an environmental law charity targeting government and polluting industries, and Immersive Climate Education. Speaking about his involvement, Jamie xx explained "I've spent a lot of time in Australia over the past decade and each time I come I'm inspired to make music. I'm always blown away by its awe-inspiring nature, the unrivalled friendliness of its people and the quality of its doofs. The loss it's suffered has been a blow to people all around the world, so it felt only right to come back this year and help raise money through this party." The night will also feature a screening of The Four Worlds, a 13-minute film piece created by Mark Pritchard and Jonathan Zawada to accompany Pritchard's 2018 album of the same name.
