- Smalltown Supersound will release the ten-track full-length on May 1st.
Kelly Lee Owens has a new album on the way.
The ten-track Inner Song, out May 1st on Smalltown Supersound, is a product of "the hardest three years" of Owens' life. "My creative life and everything I'd worked for up to that point was deeply impacted," she said in a press release. "I wasn't sure if I could make anything anymore, and it took quite a lot of courage to get to a point where I could create again."
The record was made over a month last winter with producer James Greenwood, AKA Ghost Culture. It also features a Radiohead cover ("Arpeggi") and the voice of John Cale ("Corner Of My Sky"). It arrives two years since her self-titled debut.
