  • Jonny Nash & Suzanne Kraft have released a single, "Knife," ahead of their forthcoming album, A Heart So White. For the follow-up to their 2017 LP Passive Aggressive, the duo switched from digital to acoustic instruments, working in the Willem Twee Concertzaal synagogue in Den Bosch with a pipe organ and Steinway piano. This switch in instrumentation, along with the natural acoustics of the space, allowed the duo to strip down their sound. "Knife," released last Friday, comes with a B-side called "Processing The Negative." It precedes the ten-track full-length out in mid-May. As per usual, the album comes via Nash's Melody As Truth label, which has been primarily dedicated to the duo's solo work and various collaborations, including the improv-focused MATstudio project. Listen to "Knife" via Bandcamp.
