South African artist Angel-Ho has announced her next album, Woman Call.
The eight-track LP, which will be self-released on April 24th, follows 2019's Death Becomes Her for Hyperdub. Similar to that album, this new one addresses themes of love, fame and LGBTQIA empowerment, while pulling from jazz, R&B, hip-hop, electro-pop and more.
"I wanted to create music that I wish I heard growing up and now I think I have achieved this," Angel-Ho says. Conceptually, Woman Call represents the voice of a woman who is not the "perfect mold of society."
