Russell E.L. Butler has put out a new album via Bandcamp called A Talisman To Ward Off Dysphoria.
A Talisman To Ward Off Dysphoria is a four-track, self-described "experimental" album, and what Butler says is their first such music in over ten years.
"A Talisman To Ward Off Dysphoria is meant to sooth and to protect," says Butler. "In my travels, my body is challenged constantly. Navigating the gender roles and the restrictive identities that are projected onto me, continues to prove difficult. I know that others have the same struggle. I hope that this helps bring you back to yourself, so that you can continue to live, maybe even face the world some day."
