  • Sydneysiders love their beautiful blue harbour and what better way to celebrate it than a huge Harbourlife party right next to the sparkling waters with a jaw-dropping view. Add some internationals, favourite locals and its on at the Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Rd, in the Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday 26 November from 2pm to 10pm. Heralding the summer with excellent music, Harbourlife is a seriously essential Sydney experience. The lineup this year features internationals Martin Solveig, Mark Farina, Touché and Dreadzone Soundsystem. Fuzzy favourite Mark Farina touches down in Oz once again and would be sure to tear the roof off – that’s if there was a roof to tear off with his super funky beats! Solveig is hot property at the moment after a standout set at Field Day this year. His new Defected single ‘Everybody’ is rocking the clubs right now and doing as well as his previous hits ‘Rocking Music’ and ‘I’m A Good Man’. He also has a new album, ‘Hedonist’,out which is an electronic take on rock, disco and soul with big infectious vocals. Touche will serve up some of his electro/house and Dreadzone Soundsystem will provide their fusion of breaks, dub, reggae and electronica. They recently released a single on Finger Lickin’, a killer Beats and Bobs CD and their new album 'Once Upon a Time’. You can expect party breaks with a dancehall flavour and irresistible basslines from this soundsystem three piece incorporating decks, keyboard, laptop and the lively MC Spee. Supporting these great internationals on the day will be locals Illya, Jonathan Wall, Q45, Jessica Joy, James Taylor (AU). Tickets go on sale midday Tuesday 4 October for $69 +bf from www.fuzzy.com.au, rising to $79+bf. Members can get cheaper tickets. Hit the link below for more information.
