  • SOPHIE and Juliana Huxtable have a new project called Analemma. Analemma debuts on Locus Error, the latest various artists "concept album" on Nina Kraviz's label ????. They have two tracks on the LP, alongside contributions from Kraviz herself, Ryan James Ford, PTU, Alan Backdrop, Antigone, Kyoka and more. The compilation is said to be influenced by classic trance, particularly early psytrance. Earlier this fall, Kraviz faced accusations of racism over a selfie she posted of herself in cornrows and her handling of the ensuing fallout. Read Ash Lauryn's opinion piece, It's Deeper Than Cornrows, It's Culture, here. Listen to clips.
