- Expect DJ sets from the likes of Sherelle, Craig Richards & Nicolas Lutz and Octo Octa, with Equiknoxx, Giant Swan and Oli XL playing live on May 8th, 2020.
Wigflex City Festival will return to Nottingham next spring.
The second iteration of the festival is scheduled for May 8th, 2020, and will take place in various venues across the city, including the Nottingham Contemporary, Metronome and The Brickworks. Among the DJs booked are Craig Richards & Nicolas Lutz, Sherelle, Octo Octa, Lena Willikens & Vladimir Ivkovic, Josey Rebelle and Helena Hauff.
Equiknoxx, featuring Gavsborg and Shanique Marie, Giant Swan, Oli XL and Greentea Peng will all play live, with more names yet to be announced across the board.
"The first festival was like seeing every single thing that I know and love about Nottingham come together in one big beautiful way," founder Lukas Wigflex, who's been running parties since 2006, said. "Seeing the whole city come alive was really special, and I think it's exactly what Nottingham needs more of. The support we've received across the board for this festival has played a huge part in giving us the confidence to keep going. It's not exactly the best time to be a DIY, independent party promoter, but we've got no plans of stopping any time soon."
