  • Wilted Woman's score of the latest short film by Domingo Castillo, Tropical Malaise, is out next month. Tropical Malaise, described as a "site-specific film examining life on earth 500 million years into the future—post-human existence," debuted in 2017. Berlin artist Wilted Woman scored the concluding parts of the film, and her soundtrack will be released next month on digital and vinyl formats via Primitive Languages. Cienfuegos, Nick Klein, Little Annie and TT were also commissioned for the project, though Wilted Woman's is the only one to get a release at this time. Earlier this year, Wilted Woman released a collaborative album with Nick Klein, Café Kotti, on Alien Jams. In 2018, she put out Trapezoid Tappers on Plastic Bags and the Watching The Psycho EP, also on Primitive Languages. Primitive Languages' last release was the die Reihe EP, 106 Kerri Chandler Chords. Listen to the score.
Primitive Languages will release Tropical Malaise on December 2nd, 2019.
