  • Scorn has put out a new album. The UK artist, real name Mick Harris, returns to his dark ambient and dub-influenced sound on Cafe Mor, out now via Ohm Resistance. Comprising eight tracks, the album features vocals from Sleaford Mods' Jason Williamson on the fifth track, "Talk Whiff." The LP also sees contributions from Dadub's Daniele Antezza, who mastered Cafe Mor. Harris is the former drummer from Napalm Death, the pioneering UK grindcore band that started in the '80s. (He is sometimes credited for inventing the blast beat.) Cafe Mor is his first full-length since the release of Refuse;Start Fires in 2010, also handled by the drum & bass focused Brooklyn label, Ohm Resistance. Read our 2017 feature with Harris here.
