- The Berghain resident has just released the imprint's first record, Super Sound Tool #1.
Fiedel mints his new sub-label, Super Sound Tool, with the Super Sound Tool #1, EP out now as a limited edition vinyl release.
The Berlin-based artist Michael Fiedler's new vinyl-only label is an offshoot of his Fiedel II imprint. Super Sound Tool will curate techno records cut at 45 RPM with a production method that aims to ensure optimal sound quality and enhanced frequency range, while reducing background noise. The first release features tracks from Mode_1 and Duncan Macdonald.
Fiedler is a resident at Berghain and produces as one-half of MMM with Errorsmith. His recent catalog includes a joint EP with Body Jack, Fidel Vs Bodyjack, on the Body Trax label.
