- The first ur tongue in my mouth will go down next week.
The crew behind New York collectives PAPI JUICE and Clit Club are launching a night of queer performances on November 16th.
Conceived by Oscar Nñ and Julie Tolentino, ur tongue in my mouth seeks to widen the possibilities of a club night. Taking place at Performance Space New York, the event is intended to promote increased accessibility and collective building in queer spaces. The night will see video installations from Tolentino alongside soundscapes from Oscar Nñ. Several DJs are also booked for the event, including stud1nt and Morenxxx.
Oscar Nñ is a DJ and co-founder of Papi Juice, the queer and POC collective and party based in New York. From 1990 through 2002, Julie Tolentino headed New York's Clit Club parties, a series of queer parties entirely run by women of color.
