  • With a much anticipated return, Sweetchilli is set to start off 2005 with a bang by hosting their very first Border Community event, with none other than James Holden headlining the night. Those lucky enough to have already witnessed James behind the decks will agree that his is a sound which doesn’t fit into the traditional genre boundaries. The versatility of his sets has in turn allowed James to build a following of fans from almost every scene, a few being techno, trance, progressive and electro. His sound has been described as "universally appealing". This first Sweetchilli event for 2005 will be held on 12 February at Susie Q's and as luck has it that is not all we have in store. The following weekend (Feb 19), will see another international progressive favourite Desyn Masiello spin at Sweetchilli. Desyn is responsible for the first Bedrock OS_1 Compilation released last year, and is also not only a top producer and label owner but also a DJ with impecable track selection. Doors open at 10pm for both of these parties, with a $25 cover. For more details visit the Sweetchilli site, via the link below.
