  • With the coming and going of record labels a regular thing in this volatile market, any label that makes it past the 10th release mark can be considered somewhat of a success. One such label, raced past the that mark and after a stunning array of amazing and definitive releases, Steve Bug’s Poker Flat Recordings next release will mark their 50th single release! Over the past five years Poker Flat, based in Hamburg (Germany), has become one of the European mainland’s most consistent labels, featuring great music from the likes of Detroit Grand Pubahs, Martini Bros, DJ T, Jasper Dählback, Freestyle Man, Hakan Lidbo, Phonique and Swayzak to name a few. The anniversary release will come from Steve Bug himself and is a commemorative re-release of 'Loverboy', the tune that started it all. Featured on the first Poker Flat release 'Double Action' way back in 1999, The release which went on to be remixed by Josh Wink, Matthias Schaffhäuser and Primitive, it is now considered highly in the minimal house circles. 'Loverboy - re-loved' features updates of the original, by minimal-wizard Guido Schneider, Cassy and Steve Bug himself re-bugs the tune. Steve Bug ‘Loverboy - re-loved’ is released on December 13th.
