Australia Day Long weekend party ‘Domestic Bliss’ in Sydney was a great night for those that attended, however the party organisers were left dumbfounded when returning to the venue to discover that several artworks had been stolen from the walls after a ‘Culture Crunch’ art exhibition at had been featured.
Three small canvases from a series of seven by Local Artist Petra Zbinden, along with a poster sized graff-cartoon style work by Matthew Bourne, were found missing on the Tuesday morning. Unfortunately security cameras were unable to capture the theft leaving no clue to the identity of the thief/thieves. The artists were understandably disappointed at the loss and have appealed for the return of their works.
