  • Beat Hotel has revealed the latest round of names for next year's Marrakech event. The festival's 2020 edition, which will run from March 19th through 22nd, will include DJ sets from Carista, DJ Tennis and Pional, Andrew Weatherall, Gilles Peterson, Call Super, Young Marco, Yu Su and more. Live performances will come from previously announced artists Kindness, Kate Tempest and Floating Points, among others. Representing local talent on the bill are Moroccan artists Yasmean, Guedra Guedra and members of Casablanca-based record label Casa Voyager—plus the return of gnawa artist Maalem Houssam Guiniaas. This installment of Beat Hotel continues the festival's tradition of hosting talks and workshops, featuring the likes of XL Recordings's Richard Russell and Andrew Weatherall.
