  • Nathan Micay is launching a new vinyl reissue label this week. Eternal Schvitz will repress hard-to-find dance music on vinyl. The first release, out this Friday, collects four tracks from the short-lived British label Baby Blue Recods, which ran between 1990 and 1993. Two tracks come from Alex Marsh (under the names Inside Outlaws and Partners In Time), while the other two come from Baby Blue founder Chris Simmonds. All are restored from the original DAT tapes. The profits for each release on Eternal Schvitz will be divided between the original artists, who will receive 60 percent, with the rest going towards aequa, a Berlin collective that focuses on empowering women, trans and non-binary people by hosting gatherings and workshops. Eternal Schvitz is something of a sister label to Schvitz Edits, a vinyl-only label that Micay uses to release unofficial edits. Earlier this year, Micay released his debut album, Blue Spring, and a follow-up EP, via LuckyMe. Listen to clips of Baby Blue Records Sampler.
