Essaie Pas have just released a new EP on DFA Records.
Partners Marie Davidson and Pierre Guerineau say Earth is "a tribute to late 1990s, early 2000s pop trance tracks." The EP features three new tracks; the second, "Corps Étranger," is centered around an excerpt from a speech by Dr. Gabor Mate that "talks about the persecution of addicts in our capitalist society," the band explains. Marco Passarani contributes a hi-NRG remix of the title track.
The Montreal duo's last release was the 2018 LP New Path, also for DFA.
Marie Davidson announced in August that her mid-September Red Bull Music Festival party would be her "last party playing live hardware club music."
