  • Richard Fearless, best known as Death In Vegas, is releasing his a new album in November. Deep Rave Memory is the first full-length under the Richard Fearless name, and it was inspired by the area surrounding his studio, where the Lea and Thames rivers meet. "There's a steel factory on the opposite bank and the sounds of industrial metalwork is incredibly inspirational," he says. "Then you have the continuously growing skyline, too. It's a very Ballardian landscape. You get these party boats that go down the river. You hear drifts of music floating over. I tried to emulate that when I put mixes down, sweeping the effects in and out, catching the delay tales." Fearless is best-known for his Death In Vegas project, which has been running since the mid-'90s. He's also collaborated with Daniel Avery as PSSU, which released an EP last year. Deep Rave Memory comes via Fearless' Drone label. Listen to "Atlas Of Insanity."
