  • Longtime collaborators Lee "Scratch" Perry and Adrian Sherwood will release Heavy Rain via On-U Sound on December 6th. Heavy Rain is the dub version of the longtime collaborators' Rainford album, which came out earlier this year. The 12-track LP also includes previously unreleased cuts "Dreams Come True" and "Above and Beyond." The new release sees Perry and Sherwood continuing to work with the backing band that played on Rainford and also features Brian Eno and Vin Gordon of The Wailers. Like the previous project, Heavy Rain will land on Sherwood's venerable On-U Sound imprint. Rainford, which came out in June, was described as the culmination of Perry and Sherwood's 30-year friendship. The album was the follow-up to the duo's previous collaborative projects, such as the 1987 release Time Boom X De Devil Dead. Watch the video for "Enlightened:"
