- Lara Rix-Martin's new release explores the sonic landscapes of autumn and winter.
Meemo Comma's second album, Sleepmoss, lands on Planet Mu next month.
Lara Rix Martin's next release is described as "a eulogy to autumn and winter," with the timeline of the album beginning at summer's end. The Brighton-based producer cites English Romantic painter J.M.W. Turner as a visual influence for the full-length.
Sleepmoss is the follow-up to Rix-Martin's 2017 debut, Ghost On The Stairs, her first solo-release under the alias Meemo Comma. In 2016 she started her own label, Objects Limited, focused on the work of women and non-binary artists. She has since released an EP, Cyclizine, on the label under the moniker Lux E Tenebris and is one-half of the output Heterotic with partner and Planet Mu founder Mike Paradanis.
