Closed Rotterdam club BAR will temporarily reopen in The Hague

- PIP Den Haag will house the venue for three months, with the opening scheduled for September 7th.
- Closed Rotterdam venue BAR is temporarily moving to The Hague. After shutting its doors for good at the end of June, BAR will be taking up short-term residence at PIP Den Haag. BAR's bookers Jetti Steffers and Sjoerd Post will put together the three-month-long programme, which begins on September 7th. The lineup for that one is still TBA, as are all future parties. PIP also aims to recreate BAR's interior design. "What happened to BAR can happen to us, too," PIP's Luka Kueter said, according to 3VOOR12. "Just like our colleagues in Amsterdam, we have to deal with rent increases, competition from festivals and the subsequent hardening of the market, while the scale of The Hague scene forces us to keep the threshold and ticket price low."
