- He's also releasing a 12-inch with unreleased material from the same time, both out in September.
Jochem Peteri, AKA Newworldaquarium, is reissuing one of his most beloved records.
The Dead Bears originally came out as a double-LP on Delsin back in 2007, and it's become one of the most important releases in the storied dub techno artist's catalogue. Now Peteri is reissuing the album on his Ape label, recut as a triple-LP with new red artwork. It also marks the first time the 11 tracks from the digital version have been pressed on vinyl.
Just before that reissue comes out on September 16th, Peteri will release a new 12-inch with tracks taken from the same sessions in the early '00s. The press release calls these two tunes "part dub, part ambient, part soundtrack," and they're out on September 2nd.
This package marks the latest in a series of reissues from Peteri, including other Newworldaquarium records as well as albums and EPs from his 154 alias.
