  • Santa Muerte's debut album will come out on their label, Majía, in late August. On Diluvio, which means "flood" in Spanish, the duo borrows elements of reggaeton, grime and baile funk, while also embracing the darkness of their namesake, the Mexican "Saint Of Holy Death." Houston producers Sines and PanchSM have been recording as Santa Muerte since 2015, appearing on club labels such as NAAFI, Ghe20g0th1k and Infinite Machine. Last year they contributed to the Kelela remix album alongside Kaytranada and DJ Lag, among others. Santa Muerte also run the label Majía, which put out an EP from Chicago artist Ariel Zetina in April, following one from California's TenTwentySeven, who features on Diluvio. Other features include Lao and Zutzut from the NAAFI crew and NNOA, a Majía label artist who also engineered the LP, out on August 23rd. Listen to "Sin Lagrimas (Intro)."
