- Objekt's much-played "Theme From Q" VIP remixes are being released under the fictional DJ Bogdan alias.
Two variation-in-production mixes of Objekt's "Theme From Q" are coming to vinyl.
Running with the story built up around the release of Objekt #4, the white-label 12-inch is credited to DJ Bogdan, the owner and resident DJ of fictional Berlin venue Basement Q. Objekt maintains DJ Bogdan is a real producer—text accompanying the release says he has retired to Bulgaria "where he breeds horses with his wife and grandchildren." A Discogs page was created under the name in April.
Available in "Morning Dub" and "Midnite XTC" versions, both of which have received heavy play from popular DJs as of late, the not-on-label record is due out Wednesday this week. Digital files are available now from Bandcamp.
