- It's out now on his The Student Body Presents label.
Afrikan Sciences, real name Eric Douglas Porter, has a new album called Centered out now on his label, The Student Body Presents.
The New York-based experimentalist approaches hip-hop, jazz and house via abstract beat music on his sixth LP, which he self-released today. It follows a handful of other self-released albums and EPs since the Circuitous, which came out on PAN in 2014, and he also helped produce a collaborative record in 2017 from the collective Wood//work. There was also an EP last year for Deepblak, the label run by frequent collaborator Aybee and a longtime home for his music.
Listen to all of Centered on Bandcamp.
