  • Kristina Records has returned to East London. The beloved boutique record shop left its Stoke Newington Road storefront after seven years in August last summer. By September, Kristina found a new home inside independent Tottenham venue, The Cause, which also houses DIY station Threads Radio. At the end of June, Kristina's founder Jason Spinks has announced his shop's new location on Well Street near Hackney Central. The exact opening date was not clear at the time, but Spinks wrote on Instagram, "We've got a bit of work to do, but we will be up and running there ASAP!" Now, the shop has opened its doors. On July 31st, Spinks announced the opening on Instagram: "The walls are bare, the plant needs some TLC and there's still plenty more we need to do, but there's records in the racks and a couple of speakers plugged in, so we're good to go for now!" There will be an opening party "soon," though details are still TBA.
This post has been updated to reflect the shop's opening.
