  • Thom Yorke has revealed his next album, ANIMA. The Radiohead frontman shared details of his next release on Twitter today, after teasing it in an interview with Crack magazine earlier this year. AMINA will arrive on June 27th via XL Recordings. While the digital and CD releases will have nine tracks, the vinyl versions feature a bonus tenth track, "Ladies & Gentlemen, Thank You For Coming." The album release will coincide with the premiere of a short film of the same name made in collaboration with acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson. The "one-reeler" will be available on Netflix and in select IMAX theatres.
Last night, imagery and words promoting Yorke's new album were projected around London following mysterious ads for "Amina Technologies" popping up around the world.
Yorke's most recent solo work includes the score to Luca Guadagnino's 2018 remake of Suspiria (he later released an EP featuring more work from those scoring sessions) and his "first composition for classical music artists and concert halls," which he debuted in France, the UK and Germany this past April.
