Nile Rodgers-curated Meltdown festival completes 2019 lineup

- Jungle, Kero Kero Bonito and Nicky Siano are among the newly announced acts.
- Meltdown Festival's 2019 lineup is complete. The 26th edition, curated entirely by Nile Rodgers, will feature a diverse range of soul, funk, jazz, pop and disco acts that span generations. Topping off the live show offerings are Jungle, Kero Kero Bonito, Yael Naim, Onyx Collective, Nakhane and The Smiths' guitarist Johnny Marr, among others. Nicky Siano will DJ an "immersive" disco party called A Night Of Studio 54, which brings a soundsystem, go-go dancers and roller skates to Queen Elizabeth Hall. The festival will also see the likes of SOPHIE, Thundercat and James Murphy & 2ManyDJs's Despacio project. Of course, the curator himself will put on a live show with Chic.
