  • Detroit Swindle are putting out a new remix EP in July. The new package features reworks of tracks from Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets' last album, High Life. Fellow Dutchman Steve Rachmad contributes two remixes of "Yes, No, Maybe" under his Sterac Electronics name, and there are other remixes of High Life tracks from Matt Karmil, Cinthie and Jura Soundsystem. Lesser-known Detroit head Gari Romalis also contributes. It'll come out via the duo's Heist Recordings label. Last month, Detroit Swindle members Lars Dales was injured in a motorcycle accident. He's currently recovering at home in Amsterdam.
