- Larry Heard, The Black Madonna, Zenker Brothers, Kode9 and more will play the expanded electronic music area.

Block9 has announced its lineup for this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Block9, one of several electronic music zones at the festival, has expanded its offering for 2019, adding a second field and an "immersive 3D surround-sound arena" called IICON. The 15,000-capacity stage will sit in Block9 East, hosting performances from the likes of Okzharp & Manthe Ribane, Moor Mother, Laurel Halo & Kode9, Batu, Zenker Brothers and Larry Heard, who will perform live alongside Fatima and Paul Cut. Each night at IICON, Block9 will also present AV-3D, an audiovisual "translation" of French composer Olivier Messiaen's 1941 masterpiece "Quartet For The End Of Time."
The Block9 West field will continue to host NYC Downlow, a club set inside a "life-size film set replica of a seedy New York bathhouse-cum-meatpacking warehouse circa 1982." This year's bill includes artists like Tony Humphries, Mr Fingers (who will play live), Erick Morillo, Sweely & Midland and The Black Madonna, who will go back-to-back with Garrett David. The other Block9 West stage, Genosys, which focuses on "analogue electronic music," will feature Anthony Parasole, Honcho, Randomer and more.
Glastonbury 2019 will run from June 26th through July 1st at Worthy Farm. For the full lineup, including the new Pangea stage by Arcadia, head to the festival's event page on RA.
