  • Horst Music & Arts Festival is offering an educational programme for more than 100 artists and creators this summer. Ahead of its next edition in late summer, the Belgian event is collaborating with a number of collectives, promoters, artists, venues and more to give the "next generation" access to this "platform for experiment, co-creation and creative talent development." The music programme will feature Discwoman cofounder Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson, Room 4 Resistance founder Luz, De School and Trouw's Olaf Boswijk, Lefto, Fuse's Nick Ramoudt, Culte Agency's Yoann Janssens, The Word magazine's Nicholas Lewis, Beursschouwburg's Gilke Vanuytsel and Resident Advisor. Horst's Music Labs will take place from July 10th through 14th, with additional weeks focussed on design, art and architecture taking place throughout July and August. "DIY music activists" are encouraged to apply via Horst's site. The deadline for Music Lab applications is Wednesday, May 29th. The next edition of Horst Arts & Music Festival will take place at a new location, a former military site in the northern Brussels suburb of Vilvoorde, from September 13th through the 15th. The lineup features Eris Drew, Bambounou, Lafwandah, Sherelle, upsammy and more. Listen to an interview with Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson on a recent edition of the RA Exchange.
